SAP Community Day: The RedMonk Track

How cool is this? October 1, Vegas. We’ll also be doing something in Munich a couple of weeks later. I got a brilliant email the other day (you know who you are, guy, feel free to chime in) which said RedMonk had created a “kindler, gentler, more effective analyst model”. That’s the thing. RedMonk: Collaboration over confrontation. Kind of weird given my own personal characteristics, but its in our DNA somehow. Its not about users vs vendors, or analysts vs vendors, its about community, innovation, and getting things done. Earlier this year we ran a RedMonk track at JavaOne. Now we’re running RedMonk tracks at SAP’s developer events. Seems almost like a pattern emerging.

disclosure: SAP and Sun are both clients.
