MySQL signs its first ever $1m+ deal

I had lunch with Zack Urlocker today. Excellent chap. The deal was with a European telco. Great job folks. Big deals will certainly help the IPO momentum. It was actually 1m euros+ - Zack came out with a classic line- “$1m plus tip…”

    correct me if I am wrong .. won’t MySQL be the first IPO for an OSS community ??

    Red Hat excepted there has not been much OSS IPO action.
