I see no reason to discriminate against it. The format works fine with VLC and with iTunes (which most people do know how to use). I'll be happy to chnage the tooling as I go on, though, feel free to recommend easy tools that do a better job. The Forrester interview isn't "better" the way you think - it just is (probably) more controversial. I'll not be focussing on analysts, I'll be interviewing anyone I can find.
