Bill Hilf is an important voice at Microsoft, being general manager of platform strategy. Its kind of funny that a guy whose job is to advance one platform uber alles keeps a PC graveyard in his office.
Can you imagine if Microsoft had to support all these different architectures? No? Neither could Bill or Jim Allchin.
