I like the ZDNet Between the Lines blog. Dan and David do a great job.
But David is really on a hot streak at the moment.
He is taking strong positions .
He is reporting dispassionately .
He is, more importantly, revisiting these positions.
He is taking the fight to DRM .
He is providing deep context .
He is helping to create the future, by analysing the past and present. I agree Dan Bricklin’s WikiCalc could be huge (an idea whose time has come)
David is showing what journalism needs to be, if the news media is to avoid a pink slip future. Are there some contributions inherent in the list above? Sure - that is what makes David essential reading.
