Walking Forest Machine (via world changing)

Check this out; a machine with an insect like walk that won’t trash a forest. It can mine the wood from the trees. A tractorpede if you like. The parent company is John Deere so i assume its for real. But for some crazy futuristic visions for future innovations along these lines go here.

    ive worked in logging most of my life and this is the most amzing logging machine ive seen,it would be great in our forests here in New Zealand,can i get a vidio or CD of it to shiow my work mates,keep up the good work,cant wait to have a go at operating this beast,
