Tracking tech news with ITDatabase

When I was in San Jose recently, I had the chance to talk with Travis Van of ITDatabase. Travis gives us a quick overview, laced in with some nice demos of ITDatabase in action. They provide a tech news search engine that has all sorts of analytics about who’s writing about what, at what frequency, and all sorts of other interesting meta-data that folks in PR and in-house marketing teams might be interested in. Or, as Travis’ Twitter bio puts it, a “research platform for tech industry pros.” Personally, I like to go in there and do ego searches for RedMonk and myself ;)

Disclosure: ITDatabase is a RedMonk client and sponsored this video.

    Hi Cote-

Thanks for taking your look, and for being such a great sounding board leading up to our public launch. Becoming a RedMonk client was one of the best spends in our overall marketing budget to date- and I would definitely recommend it to any tech start-up. You guys should charge more money (not to us when we re-up – but to other people, per se). Btw: we have some new tricks under our sleeves re. our next round of features. Hoping to touch base again in a month or so.

    -Travis
