		<description>As business owner whose company (Memset - UK&#039;s leading Web &amp; IT host) is built on open source (everything from project management systems to Xen which underlies our virtual machine technology), I think this is an excellent post. 
 
We believe in contributing to the projects that we use in-house (my brother, Nick, gets the credit there). If more companies did the same then open source software would appear much more reliable to the M$-dominated large corporate world, since the community&#039;s face then changes from one of a bunch of geeks with too much time on their hands to serious enterprises relying on open source for their continued prosperity.
