Having worked a company that produced a GPL piece of software and sold commercial extensions, I&#039;d have to say getting the license right and the free vs extension split are the most important things you are going to decide. If your product is successful, other companies can sell your software and provide support and services thus cutting your income possibilities. If you give too much away people don&#039;t want to buy it or resellers stuggle to sell it.</description>
