Hoepfully, Acquia does an awesome job creating new software. That would certainly find a lot value for Drupal users.

There is sure no lack of love of the community towards their system. Rather too much ;)

It is always good and healthy to read writings from someone that is not involved in the community. Wonder what the web looks outside the Drupal Universe ;)

Drupal works quite well behind the firewall. In particular it has pretty good taxonomy and keyword management capabilities as well as robust support for single sign-on systems.

That train you are hearing may be coming from the direction of the growing Drupal community.
