Eclipse Equinox and Component Oriented Development – Overview and Demo

I’ve been working with Eclipse for a second round of screencasts, this time around the idea of using Eclipse’s OSGi framework for a back to front runtime. The first installment – in two parts – is on the core of that the Eclipse runtime, Equinox, done by Jeff McAffer.

As a usage note, be sure to check out the full-screen mode in the widgets if you’d like to see a larger picture. There are also many different formats – even audio only – available on the show page.

Overview – Part 1

Demo – Part 2

As you may recall, I talked with Jeff McAffer during the Eclipse Europa screencast series. If you want even more detail on Equinox with even more demo’ing, be sure to check that screencast out as well.

Disclaimer: Eclipse is a client and sponsored this series of screencasts.
