There's nothing about the word that implies whether it's got audio/video/ or whatever in it. Did you look at any Hard Drive cameras? Currently, there are 900k hits on google for the term "vidcast" and 3m hits for "vodcast," so I think vodcast wins for the time being. At any rate, it sounds like a great idea and I look forward to seeing it.
