I like the use of real estate - fill it up with content and bugger the photos.
I like, though there is a lot of wasted space on my 1400×1050 laptop screen. It would be even worse on a 1600×1200 screen.
Can you scale?

The categories Culture, Community, Comunication don’t quite work for me - as in, I’m not sure off the top of my head, what to look for, where. What’s the difference between Blog Posts and resources for example?
